Happy Thanksgiving!

November 26th, 2009 by Wes

Times are tough, and sometimes it's easy to fall into negative thoughts. But I passed by a marquee at Hawai‘i Rent-All on Beretania Street the other night that caught my eye.

It read:

"364 days to complain, 1 to give thanks"

No matter how bad things may be, as they say, "as long as we're on this side of the grass," we've got something to be thankful for.

Let this be the day.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

Wes -- Thank you for your friendship and continuing mentorship, for your kind words and for always staying positive. Hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving!

  2. Wes:

You're very welcome, and yes, Thanksgiving was awesome: Lots of turkey, stuffing and pumpkin pie, capped off by "The Godfather" marathon on AMC.

    Doesn't get much better ...

Hope you found a good feast wherever you were!

What wisdom from a local boy done good. And I am thankful that I will be visiting your fair state next week, arriving on Tuesday 12/8, in anticipation of the Honolulu Marathon. I am thankful that my family, Julie, Maggie and Emma, will all be with me, and that I will be seeing such good friends.

    Call me.

  4. Wes:

Sorry, we've been on different schedules/time zones, and I keep forgetting.

I'll be in the office tomorrow afternoon, so you can reach me here after you get home from work if you are not out running ...
